• Icacos Island: Known for its crystal-clear turquoise waters, soft white sand, and lush native vegetation, this paradise is perfect for beach lovers and ocean explorers alike.

• Palomino Island: A calm, serene escape — ideal for spotting colorful marine life (including sea turtles!) and enjoying a relaxing swim or snorkel in peaceful waters.

Make the most of your adventure by coming prepared! Here's what we recommend bringing with you:

• 👙 Swimsuit or lightweight clothes you don’t mind getting wet (light colors preferred)

• 🩴 Water shoes for comfort and safety

• 🧼 Towels to dry off after your swim

• 💊 Any personal medications you may need

• 🆔 A valid ID (for verification purposes)

• 🧊 Optional: Bring your own drinks!

  • We provide coolers on board

  • Drinks must be in cans — no glass, please

🚫 What Not to Bring

Help us keep your experience safe, fun, and eco-friendly by leaving the following at home:

• ❌ Spray sunscreen (it damages the coral reef — please use reef-safe lotion instead)

• ❌ Jewelry (easy to lose in the water!)

• ❌ Your own cooler (we’ve got you covered)

• ❌ Glass bottles of any kind

• ❌ Illegal drugs — zero tolerance

🕒 Morning Adventure

• Check-In: 8:30 AM

• Departure: 9:00 AM

• Return to Marina: 1:30 PM

🌅 Afternoon Adventure

• Check-In: 1:30 PM

• Departure: 2:00 PM

• Return to Marina: 6:30 PM

📌 Important: All guests must check in at Villa Marina, Fajardo at your selected time. We depart promptly — please don’t be late!

⚠️ Guest Requirements & Important Info

To ensure everyone's safety and enjoyment, please review the following guidelines before booking:

👶 Minimum Age

• Guests must be at least 5 years old to participate in this experience.

🚫 Who Cannot Participate:

For safety reasons, the following guests will not be allowed to join:

• Individuals who are pregnant

• Guests with recent surgeries

• Anyone with neck, back, arm, or leg injuries

• Guests with epilepsy, heart conditions, or frequent dizziness

⚖️ Weight Limit

• Maximum weight for WaveRunner (Jet Ski) use: 400 lbs

⚖️ Other Important Notes:

• ⛵ This experience takes place on a 27-foot boat in open water. Expect occasional choppy or bumpy rides, depending on sea conditions.

• 🧭 The captain may adjust the itinerary based on daily weather/maritime conditions and guest comfort.

• 🚫 We cannot exceed 6 guests per trip — this is a legal requirement.

• 🍺 Guests showing signs of intoxication will not be allowed to board or participate.

• 🗣️ All guests must be able to communicate in English or Spanish.

• 👨‍👧 Minors (under 18) must be accompanied by a participating adult.

Cancellation Policy

We understand that plans can change — here’s everything you need to know about cancellations and refunds.

🕒 General Cancellations

• Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before your scheduled check-in time for a full refund.

• Cancellations made less than 48 hours before check-in, late arrivals, and no-shows will be charged in full — no refunds.

• All cancellations must be made by phone directly with Pirate Snorkeling Shack.

👥 Groups & Special Activities (16+ Guests)

• For groups of 16 or more, cancellations must be made at least 14 days in advance for a full refund.

• Cancellations made within 14 days of the activity date are non-refundable.

🌦️ Weather-Related Cancellations

• If Pirate Snorkeling Shack cancels due to weather, you will receive:

  • A reschedule at no cost, or

  • A full refund — your choice.

• Imporant: Only we can determine cancellations due to weather.

  • Please do not decide to skip your tour based on weather apps or personal assumptions — you will still be charged if the trip goes out.

• If a cancellation is necessary, we will call you as early as possible, but same-day, on-site cancellations may occur due to sudden changes in Caribbean weather.

Because we operate small group experiences, we maintain a strict cancellation policy to be fair to our team and other guests.

🧭 When you book with us, we prepare for you specifically — crew, boat, gear, food, and time are all reserved. We may have turned away other guests to hold your spot. Regardless of the reason, late cancellations impact our ability to operate and serve others.
