2013
Two young Puerto Ricans with a passion for nature started Pirate Snorkeling Shack to share the beauty of the ocean and inspire others to protect it. What began as a simple idea has grown into an unforgettable adventure..
2015
We’ve expanded our adventures by adding guided kayak and snorkeling tours to what we already offer. On top of that, we have the first coastal cleanup to give back and help keep the ocean and beaches beautiful for everyone to enjoy.
2017
Be recognized by the Puerto Rico Tourism Company as one of the few local businesses committed to sustainable tourism. By focusing on eco-friendly practices and educating our guests, we’re doing our part to keep Puerto Rico’s natural wonders.
2019
We launched our program with a focus on coral reef and coastal zone conservation—protecting vital ecosystems that support marine life, strengthen coastal communities, and inspire global action
2021
We’ve endured the devastating impact of Hurricane Maria, powerful earthquakes, and a global pandemic—but through every challenge, our spirit has remained unbroken. We continue to adapt, rebuild, and move forward with hope and unwavering determination.
