GENERAL QUESTIONS

Cancellation Policy / Cancellation due Weather


All cancellations must be made 48 hours before the tour or the rental departure for a full refund of the money. If you cancel after 48 hours there is no money back.
For special activities of 10 participants or more, the cancellation must be made 2 weeks in advance for the total refund. If the cancellation is made after 2 weeks there is no money back.
If we cancel due to weather, we will offer you a new date at no cost or a full refund.




Date Reschedule Policy


Yes, we can reschedule your reservation for a future date with a rescheduling charge of $25 + tax per person/ tour, and $10 per rental. All date or time changes are subject to availability.




Should I know how to swim?


You don't have to know how to swim to participate in activities with us.




Safety and Medical Condicions


Before starting any activity you must inform us if you have any allergies, back or heart problems, and if anybody in the group is pregnant upon making the reservation. .You are responsible for sharing these conditions with the rest of your group. We have first aid equipment and all our crew members are trained in first aid and CPR. Safety Measures Maximum Weight Limit: 500 lbs per kayak / 250 lbs per Paddleboard Minimum age is 6 years old | Participants Age 6-17 must be accompanied by an adult on the same activities. All guests must be able to communicate in English or Spanish.




How do I make a reservation?


Answer: You can make a reservation online by clicking on the Book Now button on the page of each tour. You can also call us at: 7787) 556-0104 We recommend making reservations at least 48 hours in advance.




How can I snorkel if I wear glasses?


A prescription mask may be provided, but please note due to the huge variety of recipes we only offer minus 3 and minus 4 recipes, they are subject to availability. Contact lenses can be worn under the mask only if you are comfortable doing so (but at your own risk). For lighter recipes, the mask itself and water provide plenty of boost.




Where should I arrive and at what time?


All tours and rentals are from the Cabezas de San Juan Natural Reserve, Ensenada Yegua, Fajardo Puerto Rico. The arrival time for the check inn depends on the tour or rental you have selected. We recommend arriving 20-30 minutes before the start of the activity..




Do you have bathroom and parking facilities?


No, we do not have restrooms or customer parking. The closest parking and restrooms are located at the Seven Seas Beach about 5 minutes walk. Parking has a cost of $ 5 plus tax per vehicle and the use of toilets $ 1 per person.




Can I tip?


Sure, our guides will appreciate it.




What happens when I'm late?


All activities start on time. If you do not arrive on timer, it is considered that you did not show up. We have a 48 hour cancellation policy, so all reservations canceled before 48 hours before the time of travel are 100% refunded. "No show" or the cancellation made within 48 hours of the travel time will be charged in full on the registered credit card. We can reschedule the tour for $ 25 per person, as long as there is availability.
For rent, the time consumption of the rented item will start at the time established in the reservation and will end at the agreed time in the reservation. If the rental equipment is not used during the first 15 minutes of rental, Pirate Snorkeling Shack will reclaim the rental equipment and the client loses the rental of the equipment. There is no money back. We can reschedule equipment rental for $ 10 per equipment.

Are Tours is Physical Demanding?


Answer: General All cancellations must be made by phone directly with Pirate Snorkeling Shack 24 hours before the activity, for a full refund. If the client cancels less than 24 hours before the activity, no money refund. Customers with reservations must arrive on time. The time consumption of the rented item and / or Tour will begin at the time scheduled in the reservation and will end at the time agreed in the reservation. It does not appear and / or does not arrive on time will be considered as an activity carried out and there is no money back. This policy applies to everyone, including cruise passengers. If the client wishes to make any changes to their reservation, they must contact the Pirate Snorkeling Shack by phone, at least 24 hours in advance. Pirate Snorkeling Shack reserves the right to accept or reject any request to change the date, time or rental item. There is no money back.

  • water shoes,
  • towels,
  • medicines,
  • camera
What not to bring:
  • Mosquito repellent,
  • jewelry,
  • anything that cannot be dwelled,
  • alcoholic beverages




Can I bring my snorkel equipment to use on the tours?


Of course you can use your snokeling gear. Many people use their own mask, snorkel and fins (But there is no discount for bringing your snorkeling gear)




Can I bring my camera?


Yes, you can bring your camera. This camera must be water proof. We also rent the GoPro camera so you can share your adventure.
